I am Chiara Metefori, a dedicated wedding planner and event.
I am Tuscan through and through, on both my father’s and mother’s side.
I was born here, just a few kilometers from Florence, and this is where I chose to live.
I design bespoke events in Tuscany, guided by a coherent and intentional design, rich in meaningful connections.

I grew up in an extraordinary region that, despite knowing it intimately, never ceases to surprise me.
Its magnetism is inexhaustible, its resources endless; traditions, history, flavors, and landscapes, so diverse that they offer me, each time, new creative possibilities.
After years of training, collaborations, and experience within the wedding industry, I chose to take an independent path, giving life to a way of creating weddings that is recognizable and deeply my own.
I introduced myself with my face, my first name, and my last name, a choice rooted in transparency, one that felt entirely natural to me.
This year, I took a further step and decided to let my surname fully represent who I am:
METEFORI.
Metefori is also a word derived from Greek, coined in Florence two centuries ago to give identity to a child without parents, welcomed into the city’s most renowned infant institution, in the heart of the historic center. That child was my great-grandfather.
He was given a word meaning “those who transform and carry beyond, between earth and Sky.”
Today, that word is also mine: not only a surname, but a direction.
My mission is to offer you and your guests a suspended sense of time and space, between earth and sky, where they can feel moved and part of something genuine.

My creative direction as a destination wedding designer is fueled by places, fashion, art, color, and the shifting light of the seasons, as well as from the grace of spontaneous gestures.
I find my deepest inspiration in historic Florentine palaces, sacred buildings, churches and ruins like San Galgano, and the architecture of medieval villages: places where beauty arises from a higher, deeper, and necessary pursuit.
When I design a wedding in the Tuscan countryside, I bring my visual culture and my aesthetic sensibility to the table.
Whether we are planning an exclusive villa buyout in Chianti or an editorial-style elopement in Siena, my goal is to create a wedding that speaks to the heart and stands the test of time.
